Does anyone have any info on being stationed in Hohenfels, Germany as a 15Q (what to expect, etc.)?

You should take advantage of traveling all around Europe when you have time. Also be sure to pack your warm clothing for winter!

It gets very cold there in the winter. Was mostly a training post when I was there many years ago.

I was never stationed there but had a possible opportunity to, so I drove there and looked around to see what it was like. If you like snow, cold weather, small posts, and being out in the middle of the country with limited civilization other than green suiters, then this is the place for you. As far as being a 15Q, no clue.

I was at Hohenfels Tower from 03-07. I'm sure much has changed since then, but it was a pretty good tower to work at. Ramps up during rotations, not as busy when there aren't units out in "the box." Hours were pretty typical business hours (7-5). I don't know if Mr. E still works there, but he's a character. FAA is always hiring, as well. Lol.
