Anyone have any experience or info on the new DLC? Is it similar to the SSD’s (I have experience with those)?

As far as DLC1 goes I had completed SSD1 prior to it being changed. I have helped people with SSD2 &3 in the past and I will tell you I LOVE DLC. I completed DLC2 in less than a week from start to finish only working on it a few hours a day in the afternoon. It is very user friendly. SO much better than SSD. You can save after each section and I did all of it on a personal computer.

Apparently, your GPA for DLC courses will also factor into your cumulative GPA with the appropriate resident course. If you are hoping to graduate with an award of honors from NCOES, make sure you take DLC seriously.

It is different. Instead of being able to skip things and find the answers online like we used to there is an interaction and your answers can affect the "story" it's trying to portray

It’s a lot better than SSD1 as it was well needed of an update. I just finished my Staff duty shift and I only have 1 out of 4 modules left.

DLC 1 is well structured in my opinion, the notes aren’t too long and it provides resources from ADPs, ARs, book references Etc. it’s pretty helpful. If you’re good at reading comprehension that’s a plus, you won’t have to take notes unless you really want or have to for memory.

I’m a big fan of the scenarios vs taking a test. It puts you in a virtual place of how you should respond with following feedback on why the answer was correct or not correct. Once you’re done with the scenario you move on to the next lesson.

DLC is not bad. Very well updated
