Does anyone have advice or guidance on BAH for a dual-military couple? How can we ensure we get what we are entitled to?

I am a SSG in the Army, my spouse just joined the Air Force(he is in AIT). IAW DOD FMR we are entitled to BHA w/o dependent rate. He is being told that he will be living in the dorms and will not be entitled to any form of BHA. We will not be stationed near each other until atleast 2020 as I am headed to Korea and will be in the barracks. Any one have any advice or guidance on this matter? How can we ensure we get what we are entitled to?

While in AIT yes he will live in the barracks, I was made aware the army did away with geo bachelors so while you are apart you should still get the w/o rate. Make sure you both enroll in MACP.
