Does anyone else out there feel like the VA and the Military side of the house should inform Soldiers better on benefits? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/does-anyone-else-out-there-feel-like-the-va-and-the-military-side-of-the-house-should-inform-soldiers-better-on-benefits <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>VA comp pay and military pay. I felt very ill informed when it came to deciding if I should have my VA comp or military pay with held. There were a lot of details left out about how they work. I unfortunately found out the hard way, when the notification arrived that I owed the Government $18,000. It is a lesson learned and I will need to figure out a way to pay it off. I may need to get another part time job and I do not want to but I am not sure I have any other choice. I really wish the VA and Military pay would get their people together and discuss how to do these options so that no one else gets into this situation.
