<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>With an entity as big as the Air Force there is not one person that can change all of the flaws/issues. Gen Welsh is a man of his word and has strong convictions about taking care of Amn and their families. With that said there are too many levels of beuracracy beneath him. On top of that, he can say one thing but those charged with executing his vision will intrepret it the way they hear it and sadly want to. It is the responsibility of the leadership at the operational and strategic levels to take care of Airmen and put common sense back into enforcement of the AFIs. Gen Welsh said the same thing himself during many of his speeches. If it doesn't make sense then why do we do it.
