Negative. 70B is one of the most over strength AOCs as its meant to be a feeder for all other 70 series.

What’s your motivation for seeking a commission with a bonus? I recommend you look at career progression and trajectory instead of a “payday”.

SGT Jimmy Bones - I'd ask that you keep in mind that this Soldier is seeking a commission. Having been a recruiter, I understand the value bonuses and loan repayment play. Having sat on OCS and AMEDD Selection Boards, I can tell you applicants seeking money as their dominate buying motive rarely are selected for a commission. The reason is that it all comes through in their statements of motivation, letters of recommendation, and their interview. No one wants an officer who "serves" because of money. If that is their dominate buying motive, then I encourage them to keep that to themselves because officers make plenty of money. It should be the job, mission, and the Soldiers they serve that are the driving force. No one every joined the military to become rich. Basically Servant Leadership. On a side note, I can see that my remarks struck a cord with you, but you thinking that you need to "teach me a lesson" is the wrong approach. I served 10 years as a recruiter, and was enlisted for 17 years so I appreciate the hardships our enlisted Soldiers have in regard to money. But as an officer, I can assure you that we expect aspiring officers to look past the money and be dedicated to the mission and the Soldiers first.

SGT Jimmy Bones let it go. We are not going to agree and I’m not arguing with you any more.

You did respond, to my post. Not the post in question. I'm entitled to my opinion, this is starting to feel personal.
