Loved it there, great place if you like the outdoors, as well as hunting and fishing. There was no 28th MP detachment. When I was there and of course it was so long ago, there'd be nothing I could tell you. Great place to live as long as you don't mind the cold. SSG Patrick H. Make the most out of all the opportunities that are there for you. If you are an outdoors kind of of person you will love it. If you are a hermit then you will be pretty miserable. Not many places you go where you can cross country ski for PT. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Sat, 04 Jun 2016 16:29:08 -0400 2016-06-04T16:29:08-04:00 Response by 1SG Uwe Mueller made Jun 6 at 2016 12:54 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/does-anybody-have-information-on-the-28th-mp-detachment-in-alaska?n=1601024&urlhash=1601024 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes, they freeze their respective derrieres off for about 9 months every year and have a tendency to stay up way past bedtime in the summer. You're welcome. Glad I could help and God Bless. 1SG Uwe Mueller Mon, 06 Jun 2016 12:54:02 -0400 2016-06-06T12:54:02-04:00 2016-06-03T20:29:59-04:00
