Does anybody else think that the media should never show the pictures of the idiots that are committing these horrible massacres?

It seems to me that if there are others that have the seem tendency that it may embolden them. With our TIk Tok, Instagram culture all of the kids want to get famous by any means necessary. My opinion, never utter their name, never show their pictures, never give them the instant celebrity status they are seeking.

I have said this all along that these are mostly copycat murders. People who have a mental illness and wanting to go out in a blaze of glory and be famous. The media needs to stop giving these murders so much attention.

We have a thin line between freedom of the press and public safety. While I agree showing their image and posting their name may bring about more copycats, where is the line?
Besides, can anyone here name the shooter from Sandy Hook without googling? Or any of the other mass shootings? They get their 15 minutes of fame, then fade from public memory.
