I learned there is a correlation between pneumonia and mitral valve disease. I had had the flu a few times and bad colds. Given my druthers I prefer a cold any day to influenza or pneumonia.Response by LTC Stephen F. made Feb 18 at 2016 12:24 PM2016-02-18T12:24:30-05:002016-02-18T12:24:30-05:00SSgt Jamie Ritter LeBlanc1312002

My favorite herbal supplement is echinacea. Navy Medical Provider. But my immune system is fined tuned like a formula one race car. Clean diet, nothing less than a gallon of water a day, I work out 6-7 days a week, and I supplement with the worlds finest nutrition company to fill those nutritional gaps. The worst I deal with is seasonal allergies down here in the south east. If you support your body by feeding it the best and training it hard you will very rarely have to deal with "common cold" or "flu" or any other "URI".Response by PO1 Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 18 at 2016 1:02 PM2016-02-18T13:02:17-05:002016-02-18T13:02:17-05:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member1312616

LTC Stephen F. No!!! My youngest boy is in kindergarten and when he starts getting the sniffles I give him a small dose of a very dense nutrition drink I've been drinking for breakfast every single day for the last 4.5 years. When I started including this stuff in my meal plan, I was working as the NCOIC of the Family Medicine Clinic at Tripler Army Medical Center. While the staff would get sick every year, I did not. Which was annoying because they would have to take time off to recover and not infect other staff and patients.
I was so impressed with this stuff I posted a video about it when my little guy was two. It's actually kind a cute.
https://youtu.be/qEoy1lPknVo
