I know where I need to start but I want to know If there are positions for AGR recruiting or normal AGR in Katterback or Illesheim. My wife is an active duty 15R and can only be stationed in Germany in those areas. We intend to live in Germany with the Army again, but since active duty might not be an option I'm looking into it.Does AGR do recruiting in Germany? i.e. Katterbach Or Illesheim? Or can you do AGR in those areas?2019-07-24T00:55:20-04:00WO1 Jacob Wellman4842218<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm having trouble getting Back into active duty from the IRR, so I've decided AGR recruiting is the next step. They mostly just support units under the 7th Civil Support Command. Not sure how you can contact them, for some reason, the Army Reserve makes it hard for Personnel to get information on units in the USAR (even current AGR Soldiers).<br /><br />You may think about joining a USAR unit in Germany & then putting in your AGR packet once you're a drilling reservist. It may make you more competitive for an AGR spot or maybe you could find some ADOS position on Tour of Duty that you could apply for while waiting for an AGR slot to open up.Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 24 at 2019 11:50 AM2019-07-24T11:50:21-04:002019-07-24T11:50:21-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member4843471<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>They should have Reserve Component Career Counselors assigned there who are AGR. But their tour is 3 years, so there might not be an opening.
