Hearing or strumming my sanshin takes me back instantly to my days in Okinawa. Getting on my bicycle and pedaling as far away from the base as possible, sanshin strapped to my back. Once I was too tired to go anywhere else I got off, explored the area, and maybe took out the sanshin for a mini-jam session.

Nothing like hearing steel drums or go go music to take you to a different place and time.....EVERYTIME. Now hearing anything from Marvin Sapp and a few others will take me back to church no matter where I am in the world.
