Do you watch gaming streams?

With recent additions to consoles, game streaming has become more of a thing. There are plenty of personalities that do videos on YouTube, but the streaming community is an ever expanding group.
I plan on starting a channel on Twitch (SippyCupGames) and will be trying my hand at this fun way to share my gaming. When I look at Twitch, I notice a lot of the same crap (DOTA, LoL, WoW, CS, etc) intermixed with the latest game release (at time of writting, Mario Maker and Destiny). I want to mix it up with an ongoing series, complete with schedule of what games will be played when. Anyone watch Twitch? If you do, what kind of thing do you look for in a Streamer?

I'm actually a fan of two of the guys that do this for a Living. JackSepticEye and Markiplier. They are very entertaining. I guess I will have to look out for your stuff on You Tube Now SSG Nathaniel Seibel.

I do enjoy catching a stream when I can. I'm a fan of one particular streamer, who streams a variety of games from Destiny to SpongeBob games. He calls himself Brownman (a nickname he got in grade school because he is Hispanic). I also enjoy watching Professor Broman, who is simply made up of silly antics in video games. He's strictly a Destiny player though. Also, what kind of gear do you use for streaming? It's something I've really wanted to pursue and simply don't know what all I need.

I would say I enjoy someone who interacts and is entertaining, but is also very knowledgable on the game being played. I can't stand channels where watching the streamer play is almost cringe-inducing, and it's no fun watching someone play a game if they're not talking to the community about it. It's a delicate balance that few streamers do well, but the ones that do are very well known. Over time, that expands to prizes and sponsors and a full-time career in the streaming business or some form of online media.

I don't watch other people play, I want to play my game. But I do look up videos when I get stuck.

I don't understand the point of these game streams. If I want to play, I'll just play a game rather than watch a video of someone else playing. By the way, now I generally prefer to gamble here https://conquestador.com/en-nz/game/tomb-raider . I don’t think there are gaming streams where people gamble.
