Now, I use Google Calendar for my planner and appointment. Plus, I can load the appointments into my work Outlook calendar and forward them to my Gmail calendar.
One of the tricks that some of the most successful officers I've met have used is that they keep a calendar planner that has a month view and is scheduler, and a separate notebook for notes.
One guy I knew had one called a life book. It was basically a leather book cover with rubber bands down the spine. You could add and replace different planner and notebooks into it. It also had pockets and several different types of paper. It wasn't like a three-ring binder with refillable planner notes like you would normally see.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 2 at 2018 7:11 PM2018-12-02T19:11:19-05:002018-12-02T19:11:19-05:00Sgt Private RallyPoint Member4177485

1LT Ernest Chamblee When I worked, I used the Franklin Planner and a daily computer reminder of tasks to be completed. I used Franklin Covey when I used one.

I use Microsoft Outlook for email, calendar, contacts etc. It is easy to sync meetings with others on your calendar and you can carry it in the mobile device you already have. No need to carry a book and write stuff in it, scratch it out when it changes etc. I fought the technology for years, once on it though, I found it to be a better solution.Response by Cpl Jeff N. made Dec 3 at 2018 6:30 AM2018-12-03T06:30:05-05:002018-12-03T06:30:05-05:00SFC William Stephens4178849

That's what $800 phone is for LOLResponse by SFC William Stephens made Dec 3 at 2018 8:25 AM2018-12-03T08:25:54-05:002018-12-03T08:25:54-05:00SP5 Dennis Loberger4179504

Use the one on my phoneResponse by SP5 Dennis Loberger made Dec 3 at 2018 12:58 PM2018-12-03T12:58:36-05:002018-12-03T12:58:36-05:002018-12-02T14:14:13-05:00
