The Alt-C is essentially dead as well. It can only be used to extend a current qualification (and only once) but only after getting signed off by the first general officer in the COC. We do not have regular access to many range facilities that can accommodate the new standards. Many reserve units also utilize MUTA 6, 8, and 10 for these things but then do not get appropriate funding or time to train soldiers to make the most of that time at the range.
