Things like this are probably part of the overall strategy to control and manage the Israelis to keep them from getting ahead of US. That being said, yes, of course Israel has mishandled the conflict on occasion. However, on most occasions it has handled it as best as anyone could under the circumstances. Israel has been under attack almost constantly ever since its founding and, as Golda Meir said so eloquently, there will be peace when Arab mothers love their children more than they hate Jews. On that day, and that day only, the mistakes will end. Except, of course, Joe Biden. He'll continue sticking his foot in his mouth to his end. He's proven that countless times. I've been to Israel. I've met with and observed, close up, military operations in that country. I was once minutes out of an Israeli bordertown with Gaza when a missle barrage struck the area we had been in, which included a school and market. Two killed, dozens injured. These attacks are constant from Hezbollah in Syria and Gaza. Joe should try to live in that environment daily, without armoured vehicles and housing, and see how he likes it.

Can both sides do better? Certainly. But if you have a neighbor who houses a hundred dogs that bark day and night, the police arrest him on your complaints which a judge always dismisses for "freedom of speech and expression" reasons, sooner or later something will boil over. No matter whom you are!!!
