Do you think the Patriots punishment was enough? Thoughts?

The theory that everyone cheats so it is okay if not a good one.
It is crap like this that leads to everyone else is looting so it is okay (or any other example you want to give).
We have become a nation that allows anything because "they" do it.

Not enough, its like someone embezzling and getting a small fine, four games? $1 million in fines when some athletes make $20 million a year? Its the equivalent of a traffic fine. Suspend for 1 year and take the trophy away. Too long we have/are looking the otherway and making excuses for poor character and bad behavior and are establishing standards that are not example for the future, let along the youth of the future.

As a patriots fan but a football fan above all, it always hurts to have your starting QB to go down or in this case get suspended, but this punishment doesn't really bother me, it just gives their backup QB (Jimmy Garoppolo) a chance to get some quality play time against some decent teams before Brady comes back...

Yes, all teams out there pull stuff like that. Other retired quarterbacks have come out and admitted to doctoring balls to their preference. When so much $$$ is on the line men are going to look for every advantage.
Side note, during that game I remember the Patriots defense having no problem catching the opponents balls.

Although all teams probably cheat not all get caught and especially in a Championship game. I think they should strip the trophy from them also.

Yes it would but who cares it sets a standard that cheating will not be tolerated.
