I understand the old wives' tale that Texas has a right to secede, but the reality is they don't.<br /><br />"Texas has no right to secede. The bottom line is that any state — or confederation of states — can illegally secede from the Union. The southwest is already majority Hispanic and both Mexico and groups such as La Raza claim that those states are still actually part of Mexico. Eventually when the majority gets big enough they may well try. The other group most likely to try to break away and form their own government is the millions of Muslims currently flooding into the country. I doubt that it will happen in my lifetime but I do think that it is coming.Response by SGT Jerrold Pesz made Sep 16 at 2015 12:53 AM2015-09-16T00:53:37-04:002015-09-16T00:53:37-04:00SFC Joseph Weber968915<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Like Jade Helm, most Texans don't even know or care about this.Response by SFC Joseph Weber made Sep 16 at 2015 1:01 AM2015-09-16T01:01:01-04:002015-09-16T01:01:01-04:00Cpl James Waycasie968985<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I doubt if they will do it.
