"There is quite possibly nobody more unqualified to be in government than Ted Cruz"....I guess the author hasn't met Trump yet? These remarks IMO are a reflection of Trump's "over the top" rhetoric. Since Trumps showing, the remarks by candidates have become more brazen as time moves on. At the same time, Cruz and Huckabee have as much chance of becoming president as I do of refusing to eat pizza...neither are going to happen anytime soon. So in the great words of Alfred E. Newman "What Me Worry"....pass the pizza please.

Sgt Jay Jones - Sergeant; It doesn't matter if he was being serious or making a joke.

The remarks were those of a person who should NOT be considered fit to be the President of the United States of America because (unlike Mr. Reagan's "We begin bombing Russia in ten minutes.") they were made in public and with the intention of convincing people to elect him.

Cruz seems like the guy who makes a horrific comment a party, and then decides if it's a joke based on the reaction of those around him.... Regardless, I think COL Ted Mc has it right.

Whether or not he was serious, for a person running for the office of President to make these kinds of incendiary remarks is not right. He is pandering to his 1% of the population. It is sort of hypocritical of Mr. Cruz to refer to Mr. Obama as a communist, when his comment sounds very much like what is done to political rivals in communist nations. You disagree? This is clearly leftist propoganda. What is most disturbing is that Iran calls "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" and Obama and Kerry think they can be trusted. Obama is more concerned with his "legacy" than with the future of this nation and the world. Obama certainly is a communist and should be in prison. Cruz is not the danger, Obama is.
