Do You think President Trump is finally getting his respect on the worldwide stage?

President Trump appears to at least have the attention of the Dear Leader/Stalin of North Korea. He is getting along better with the leaders in China, Canada, France and Germany.
Hopefully, he will be successful in avoiding trade wars and get a trade deal with China, Canada and Western Europe. Hopefully, he won't get tricked by North Korea and actually get a Peace Treaty and not a Cease Fire from North Korea.

Maybe he needs to have Diamond and Silk and Kayne West riding with him on the Tank LOL

Not from the US press, but he seems to be coming into his own. I think he has the world's attention for sure. Time will tell. Let's see if he actually gets a Nobel Peace Prize. I mean EARNS it. Not just given one, like some folks did.

LTC Private RallyPoint Member, President Trump could eliminate the U.S. national debt, end world homelessness, hunger and poverty, cause world peace, create cures for every illness, malady and disease known to man, and still be reviled by the U.S. news media. Much of what the world thinks of President Trump is a result of these sources, so I say he is not now getting the true respect he deserves from the civilized world (which must necessarily include the U.S.) nor will he ever receive it. LTC Private RallyPoint Member I expect that President Donald Trump has gained the attention of Russia, China, Japan, North and South Korea as well as Australia and Taiwan in the historic efforts by his administration to help initiate reconciliation between North and South Korea, and end to the Korean War and a reduction in tensions of the Korean peninsula.
I don't expect the inherently biased mainstream media outlets and news filters to give him or his administration credit.
Of course the benighted radicalized- liberals who see red whenever the name Trump is mentioned will be reluctant to give him his due.

I share your hope that we:

I have no idea how President Trump's relationships with other world leaders are shaping up. But at this very moment I have been in Eastern and Southern Europe for a month now and not very many of the people have much respect for him. Many Europeans ask how could we elect someone and then make fun of them and try to bring them down. People here really want America to have strong world leaders. I try to explain our system of government and our freedom to speak out against our government, but I just don't think I get through to some. Many don't understand our Media and how they can say whatever they want without government control or restrictions.
