Do you think our enemies will take advantage of the he-said-she-said of today's presidential crisis?

This is my opinion and my fear... I recall as a kid that after President Nixon resigned, President Ford didn't do very much when the North Vietnamese attacked South Vietnam (even though we had the peace Accord in Paris signed in 1973) by 1975, the Communists had rearmed and retrained and attacked South Vietnam. Even though President Ford was a field grade naval officer in a prior life, he just didn't have the stomach to send troops, air support nor B-52s back to South Vietnam. In February of 2013, I was promoted to Major and that evening , I went to a Catholic mass in Anaheim with my Aunt and Uncle who wanted to see a Vietnamese Catholic Service on the Chinese New Year. It was during the Tet. There were hundreds of Vietnamese people in that church. I was dressed in uniform because I just finished my drill and I got a lot of respect by former Vietnamese soldiers in their Tiger Stripe uniform wearing their maroon beret and who were part of the color guard. After the mass, we went to the hall where they had Vietnamese snacks. A color guard of former South Vietnamese soldiers was there to give respect. They played the American national anthem and showed the American flag. Following this, they played the South Vietnamese national anthem and their flag was put at a 45 degree angle in sadness. I'm worried about if this divides the country so much that we will lose allies just like we lost South Vietnam. Maybe it was good that we had a hundred thousand plus Vietnamese come to bases nationwide and now they are Americans. Still, we can probably avoid this tragedy in the future if we are vigilant during this time of crisis.

There are more important things to worry about than golf Delta climate change! I hope it backfires on everybody. What gets me so mad is that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton walks proud and free even though every single person here on rallypoint would be at Fort Leavenworth if we did what she did.

I hope we can get this done and over with because the longer we fight among each other, the more our enemies can do the damage they want to do without our interference if we are in a cold Civil War.

Sir, I think our greatest enemy is right here at home...among us, all the time. Certainly, we have blood enemies around the world, who would dance on our ashes if we fell from our lofty pinnacle...but they've never been, nor could they ever be as devastating to our continued vitality as we the People, ourselves. The North Koreans, Chinese, Russians...none of these can deprive us of our freedoms. Even the fighters and financiers of radical Islamic terrorism do not stand the slightest chance of eradicating our principles and values. However, each time we trade freedom for false security, and sacrifice beliefs in the interest of hegemony...we run the risk of accomplishing both. If there is indeed, a "Cold Civil War" in progress...it logically has it's lines that cannot be crossed and remain "cold". For some reason that remains mystery to me, it would appear there are those on both "sides" who would eagerly seek that line...hoping someone will cross it, or falsely (and dangerously) believing their opposition will "blink". My great fear is that this may occur in my lifetime...and we will endure the heartache, privation, risk, and loss associated. To my mind, there's only one path away from that...and it's found in our Constitution; if only people would follow it.

It is a legitimate fear. Pence is a talking head at best. I personally believe a great deal of damage has been done already. We are a already a nation of people that refuse to see the other side of the coin. That allows our enemies to take advantage. I have very strong beliefs regarding the current administration that I will not share. I do worry about the safety of our nation.

I am absolutely certain that our enemies will take advantage. If I were them I certainly would. I have more that I could add, but I cannot afford to spend an hour+ on composition.
