It is possible to survive without money. But, the root of many problems including divorce may be traced to difficulties with money. One does not need to be wealthy. But, it helps to have enough to go without choosing between food and medicine. There are still natives around who live off the land, catch or grow their own food, and live in wigwams without electricity.

In some ways, people who live without money may be happier than the majority of us because they focus more on their faith, family, and friends. It causes more greed in humanity, as you can see. You either have it or you don't, many tribes where they live without the use of money and on old values live quite happily there isn't that greed and need to get the next level or next best thing. Our society has made it so impossibly to really teach our children you can be happy with very little when they go to school if you don't have the coolest things you are bullied, so it drives them to greed and want the next best thing.

I think as a society we should go back to values what brought us here in the first place money didn't, it's sad when we have more athletics, entertainers, etc., out there whom make more money while there are more and more people going hungry or homeless everyday all out of greed.

Mind you this is just my opinion. But I think it is up to the individual to decide if money determines their quality of life. Most of us live beyond our means but there are people who enjoy a simple life and the amount of money they make may not be a lot but is sufficient for their lifestyle.
