In a recent gig she stated: the comment to the question I am asking.

http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/mar/04/hillary-clinton-to-democrats-dont-you-want-to-see-a-woman-president

Could there be enough support under a philosophy like this?

Added a photo to get the point across. :)

Couldn't we base an election off of what they plan to bring to the table rather than solely basing a decision off of their gender

In the proper and ideal World, Yes.
Unfortunately the last two Presidential Elections have set the precedence.
Everyone wants to be the first of something. It is silliness and the public is falling into the trap.

It boils down to the uneducated voter not knowing any better and naturally following the news for everything..

SGT (Join to see) - No, its the nation as a whole. Your vote doesn't count. It never has. So to keep you from understanding/acknowledging that your vote doesn't count, I the government, have come up with this great thing where you the voter, regard your party as a team. Go team go. Fight team fight. This way, the election is more like a sporting event for you and no matter who is "playing" you will support your player, right?

Not to put too fine a point on it .. but that picture is a group of Mongooses facing down a Cobra .. and the Mongoose is the deadliest of the Cobras enemies. So the Cobra is the dim bulb in the picture.

She did violate the law, which was not inacted until after Dick Cheney was VP. I have heard all the liberal and White House spin and excuses, but the facts are the facts. She violated both the spirit and intent of the law. If a Republican had done it, an investigation and charges would have already occurred.

COL Jean (John) F. B. - Yes the stats are accurate. Why did Obamacare "pass" with a M A J O R I T Y when over half of the dems didn't want/like it? Had to be some rep votes in there, right? So tell me. Is it ever so slightly possible that the rep investigations found "nothing" because there was nothing there? Or because a future "favor" found nothing there? The results ARE accurate. **WHY** they are accurate is the real question.

Well I have no problem with an intelligent woman like Margaret Thatcher for president; however with Hillary Clinton's record it would strongly suggest to me that the democrats have excelled again at rigging the elections.... not that the republicans deserve to win. as congressional records indicate both parties are leaning socialist. The democratic party wants us socialist yesterday via liberalism and the republicans are easing it into us slowly. Both parties have failed to preserve and protect the US Constitution and have made laws taking away many of our individual freedoms and pursuit of happiness. Just check the internet on unconstitutional laws passed. Vote independent, Thomas Jefferson said to purge the government every twenty years... hadn't been purged yet.

I can't stomach the woman or her lying husband. We don't need more of what we've had, we need to be fixed. Our country is broken. Rampant racism, trigger happy police, riots that remind me of the 60's, no respect from this generation for anything. Our core values are long gone.

She hasn't announced yet that she's a candidate. Everyone knows she is. Besides her getting elected, I don't want Bill Clinton as our first man. All I've heard is she keeps asking women "don't you want to see a female President". If that's her reason for running, to prove something, she's as big an idiot as she ever has been. Can you see Bill handling our foreign policies? He's more popular now than when he served because of that silver tongue of his. I think he would screw up our foreign policies and our allies by telling them something we can do, knowing we can't do it. I think our credibility would become worse than it is now. If you listen to all candidates, all I hear is what they plan or want to do, but I don't hear any solid plans. She doesn't have hardly any credibility. She hasn't a clue about military operations, or the military in general, just like Obama. Our VA's need a good overhaul. She won't know what to do, and could probably care less. I don't see anything concerning the military as high on her list of priorities. We're in real trouble. We need someone who can get us out of trouble. I don't know who that is, but that's what we need.

We definitely need something. I am not sure ho should be in the seat but the last 6-ears have been atrocious.
It really gets my goat when people talk about race. I always say that when Clinton was President it was just as bad.
There is no accountability. The Characters in D.C continue to bring our Military down while lining their pockets!

MAJ David Vermillion - Well sadly you blew that once you allowed lobbying. Go to any of those "look-at-how-they-vote" websites. Neither party is true to it's core values anymore. Gone are the days when a humble outdoorsman from Tennesee could stand up and say "my names' Davy Crocket and I'm running for office." Or a humble lawyer from Illinois could announce "I'm Abraham Lincoln and I want to be your president." Those days are far past. We get what we vote for.

We can make jokes about her being President until she really is. Then the funny stuff gets down to being serious stuff, and then we're in a real Charlie Foxtrot. Whoever becomes President, will be there four long years. In that time period, someone will have to work their ass off to make us solvent again with the world. She isn't the one to do that.

I'm sorry, not really, but I dont think the POTUS should take a couple sleeping pills, not answer the phone, get Americans killed, and then just say "I'm sorry" and have a good cry about it!

I am with you. She does not care about us or anyone. I would like to put her daughter in one of these countries then maybe she would change her mind about her views.
Then we could retort her own words when her daughter is in the wrong hands. "What Difference does it make?"

I don't understand how she can be proud of either one of them and support them. I guess because she's a Clinton.

We elected a totally unqualified President based simply on identity politics - he's black. Why shouldn't we be able to repeat this lunacy and elect another solely on her qualification as a women?

Democratic elections work because of the wisdom of crowds unless the crowd is fed misinformation. Thanks to the ideological bent of our prime sources of news and views, I fully expect Hillary to be elected

PO1 Glenn Boucher - Yup - you hit the nail right on the head. That's why you have the Tea Party. There are no more Eisenhower republicans anymore. This is also why two non-politicians (Carson and Trump) are/were leading. Until the gop has a kristlnacht and reorganizes, you can look forward to two more democrat presidencies. I don't see how you can get it any other way. Hilary's "bad" but "predictable." And she's a politician. There are senators and congress folk that will not work with a non-politician (Trump). So Trump's election is going to be seen "as risky". Of course, thanks to the Tea Party, they will have no choice but to run him.

SSG (Join to see) I keep my expectations low on that account.

But the blatant absurdity of the statement demands that response. She has other candidates in her party that have that same "win the election qualifier" and, though it's unlikely, we could also end up with a female candidate from the Republicans. To make such a blanket statement that ignores the fact that she hasn't even secured her primary which will be against someone else with the exact same "qualifier" is utter lunacy.
