Only provided they don't violate the terms and impede the daily functions, and when asked to alter their conduct they do so in a reasonable manner. The permit is not a blank check for others to dogpile onto and violate standing law or standards of acceptable conduct. That's the difference between peaceful assembly and protest and participating in and inciting a riot. You don't have to necessarilly like what they're protesting, but I respect the fact that they're using the right. Seems a lot Americans and service members forget we fought several wars for those rights and have fought others to give that right to others in the world. To not exercise any of these rights would be more of a slap in the face to any one who fought and/or died for those freedoms. To rant, I hate seeing Americans and SM's make an issue of people using those rights. Seeing people take part in their government and use those rights is part of what makes me proud to have served, doesn't matter if I happen to like the issue at hand they're protesting. Sorry, rant over. SGT Justin Anderson Fri, 14 Aug 2020 22:42:50 -0400 2020-08-14T22:42:50-04:00 2015-08-29T02:47:04-04:00
