Do you think all PX/Commissaries should have security? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/do-you-think-all-px-commissaries-should-have-security <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I live in Beaver County, PA and we have a PX/Commissary about 10 minutes from me. I recently contacted my Congressman because due to budget constraints, the Armed MP that normally patrols the property during business hours is no longer able too. I think this puts not only our service members and veterans safety at risk, but also their families. Especially since there&#39;s a major Air Force Base nearby and the PX/Commissary&#39;s close proximity to a major International Airport. What are your thoughts? Do you think it should be a high priority for budget money to be set aside to allow for the payment of an Armed MP at these facilities? If there was a patrol all the bad guys would have to do is wait until the patrol leaves then proceed. Is there a dedicated QRF who will respond? You say there are lots of vets in the area, is there anyway a sort of over watch can be formed with these guys and family members? Getting some type of &quot;armed over watch&quot; signs, kind of like Neighborhood Watch will also make the bad guys stop and wonder. Yes a patrol is great, I am just looking at some other options to pick up the slack.
