The lawsuit is going to ask for one or two things: money or change.
If we punish the VA by taking more money away then you're just hurting additional veterans.
If the outcome of the lawsuit is that the VA must act on what they are already supposed to be doing, then nothing will have changed. They are already under Direction from Congress to change and make things better.

It is not a matter of the VA being unwilling, it's a matter of it being incapable. The VA is one of the largest organizations in the entire world. There really is no other organization to model off of and so there is no clear path to success. That's why we have had so much turnover in leadership over the last two decades.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 18 at 2018 7:53 PM2018-11-18T19:53:10-05:002018-11-18T19:53:10-05:00MSgt Private RallyPoint Member4138742

The only people who would benefit would be the lawyers.Response by MSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 18 at 2018 9:28 PM2018-11-18T21:28:54-05:002018-11-18T21:28:54-05:001LT Vance Titus4139996

If I thought that a law suit would help, I would say yes. I don't think a law suit would due anything except cause further confusion and delay. Mission-focused leadership at all functional levels of the VA is what is needed. But it is so big that I doubt there are enough dedicated leaders to do the job. Worse, I don't think the VA has the desire or feels the need to change.Response by 1LT Vance Titus made Nov 19 at 2018 11:05 AM2018-11-19T11:05:02-05:002018-11-19T11:05:02-05:002018-11-18T15:39:41-05:00
