Morris1499758

To me, I have found the civilian environment of business to be parallel with my Marine Corp training for Platoon and Squad tactics. Do I get my business ready to win? Do I know and understand the enemy. I mean, opposition. Do I know myself?

Planning to win the contest, it is important to be unique, and different. Giving the customer a better choice. This takes away productivity from the competition. Adapting, Improvising and Overcoming for success may not be the official Marine Corp Motto. But, I used it on active duty and now as a veteran small business owner.

My company Mark A. Morris Point of Care Ultrasound Imaging LLC is at rally point and has paid for support. Once Medicare grants my Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility a Provider-ship number (support), I will be able to accept other insurance. (Move to ambush location). Not, just Medicare/Medicaid and cash pay patients.

To accomplish my mission, I will be accepting what only insurance reimburses. The patient will not be out of pocket, or have to pay what their insurance will not. This attacks the competition at the knees. Plus, as a certified ARDMS Sonographer, my experienced exams are highly qualified. I am stronger than my opponent.

Know yourself and know the enemy and victory will be yours. Win before you fight.

Cpl. Morris Mark A. Acting Platoon Sgt. Charlie Company School of Infantry 1991-1992. Instructor of the squad automatic and 203 grenade launcher. I agree that we must prepare ourselves to win and expect to win. This does not mean you have to be a jerk and expect things to be given to you but to work on what you want and as long as you do that, then you should expect to win or get what you are after. If you go into something with the mindset of "well maybe..." than those are the results you will get.

The example that comes into mind that reflects with this community is the fight with transition. As I have said before, the transition is not easy. Personally, mine was not the best early on but that was because I wasn't prepared to win. I went in thinking I could just wing it without a game plan. But after falling on my face at the bottom of countless bottles of rum, I got a plan together and have been working very hard everyday towards achieving the goals in those plans. I would say, how one prepares to win is not the same across the board. It takes a lot of internal thought to come up with a good plan of action.Response by SGT Ben Keen made May 4 at 2016 9:55 AM2016-05-04T09:55:14-04:002016-05-04T09:55:14-04:00SGT William Howell1499935

"If you have to read a motivational poster to keep you motivated, you need to get your shit together, 'cause you ain't motivated."
