When you are automatically diagnosed (not me), without regard to any input from yourself, by somebody that has only read about combat and PTSD they are guessing without any practical experience. This applies to everything else in life also, so don't think that I am trying to deflect. Would you hire somebody without experience, if you owned a business, versus somebody that had experience? The question that KILLS me every time I think of our current administration.
With no practical experience I find it difficult for anybody to have an "understanding" of what we have gone through overseas in the cat boxes, and how to do a job.
Just my two cents worth.Response by CW3 Tim Karwal made Mar 15 at 2016 11:37 AM2016-03-15T11:37:51-04:002016-03-15T11:37:51-04:00LTC Wayne Dandridge1380862

Received great and successful PTSD treatment at the Ralph H. I think most who have served do, whether military, or any sort of first responder. We all have suffered trauma of one sort or another. Some combat, and some non-combat.
