Do you or do you not contribute to elections campaign on your tax form?

We all know that question with the two little boxes on our federal tax forms. Do you want to contribute to the election campaigns? Check 'yes' or 'no.'

I used to check yes and say, "Sure. Why not?" Now I check 'no.' Not sure if my checking 'no' makes any difference, but it gives me a bit of satisfaction because, by checking 'no,' I feel I have regustered my displeasure at how campaigns have gotten dirtier and meaner.

What about you? Do you check 'yes' or 'no?' Why or why not?

I have never checked yes because they take enough of my money through taxes as is! :>)

Nope, Never! If I want to contribute to a specific campaign then I will give directly to it.
