I want to reclass at the end of my 3 year contract. I already have the score needed for the MOS I want. I just want to know if I have to retake the test since it would be more than 2 years since I last took it. If you don't meet the ASVAB line scores for the new MOS is there a waiver process? If you meet all the ASVAB line scores or a waiver is acceptable if you fall short, then you wouldn't have to retake the ASVAB. You would qualify for every job that the army has. On the other hand, a score of 90 might limit your options. When you're in the reup window talk to your career counselor. He or she should be able to tell you what is needed to reclassify. If you're currently enlisted though, it's my understanding that the scores are good indefinitely.

It never hurts to try and improve it though. It could open more doors for you depending on what you might want to do. SSG Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 07 Sep 2018 16:42:58 -0400 2018-09-07T16:42:58-04:00 2018-09-07T08:10:37-04:00
