Do you need a 110 GT score for the Army intelligence jobs?

Everywhere I look it just lists what you need for your ST line score and maybe a DLAB score. But people I talk to tell me you also need a 110 GT score. So then why not list all the requirements?

Last time I did a candidate packet for CI, 35L, GT score had to be 110. I can only speak to that.

Since I've joined the Army, I've always been told that a 110 is a requirement for MI. That being said, if there is a specific MI mos that your looking at, your career counselor can tell what exactly you need in order to qualify.

The requirements for different jobs is listed in the DAP Pam 611-21 chapter 10C. Different jobs have different line scores, some don’t have any GT requirements at all

I am MI and I can tell you that all is required is the ST line score. I have a 119 GT and work with individuals who have a 104

You always want the best score possible with all line scores, but as has been stated, in MI there is heavy emphasis on the ST score.

I've been a 35F for almost 16 years - and I have a 103 GT score. I wanted to go into journalism since that's my degree and I was coming straight out of college but I would have had to wait six months to go to basic I was told. I didn't want to wait that long. I was told the closest thing they could find to journalism was intelligence analyst - I asked what else? Mechanic or cook...I took intel.

No one said anything to me about GT score then. I'm not sure if it's changed in 16 years but I still have a 103 and never had issues with any position I've been in.

I don't know about the other 35 series jobs.
