Individuals can be good or bad, but the dynamic changes with group think, many times for the worse. That's what the extremist groups do, that's what the segments who don't care about basic freedoms do, and that's what evil people do. For those who are on the value side, I'd propose you won't see the value until they shake the first thing off first. If you are into the love side, then the objective is the same so they too can love all. It's the hesitation and unwillingness to go after real evil over the value and love argument that results in the loss of many more innocents. Are we always right? No. But should we hesitate over mostly right? That requires courage, ownership, and responsibility.
