My brother brought his future wife to my house for dinner, trying to have her "get to know me better". He was talking a lot of smack, and I refrained from a rejoinder, not wanting to embarrass him. After a while, I got him alone and told him to cease and desist or I would return fire. He didn't stop.
So, he says to girlfriend gal, " Did you know that Jerry once (something embarrassing)..."
I say, "Corey, did you know that Chris used to pee sitting down?"

Problem solved.

From the list, only a few struck me as truly classic insults -- the line from Aliens, the one about apologizing to your arm for saluting a bad officer, and the line from the XXX Corps commander's briefing in "A Bridge Too Far".

Here's a couple of others that would go on my "Best Military Insult" list, also from "A Bridge Too Far":

Of course I do!! That's why I enjoy the Marine Corps so much! The good insults are funny especially if they are crude or degrading for something like political views or religion. Of course I can only speak for myself. I like when people joke about me because it means they actually have a vested interest in me and know me well enough to feel comfortable to do that. Movie insults are funny too. As SSG Palmer said, the Private Pyle one is classic!

I don't have one from a movie but the best insult I have ever heard was when my battle called this one Soldier a space cadet. It was so funny. Man combat arms has the funniest insults.

The etiquette way that Gunny Hartman was able to spit out an insult was so classic. my all time favorite
"Private Pyle has dishonored himself and dishonored his platoon. I have tried to help him. But I have failed. I have failed because YOU have not helped me. YOU people, have not given Private Pyle the proper motivation! So, from now on, whenever Private Pyle f**ks up, I will not punish him! I will punish all of YOU!"
