Do you know of any publishers or literary agents that might be interested in reviewing this project for publication?

I am looking for a reputable literary agent or commercial or academic publisher to submit my book proposal and book. The manuscript is complete. I made the last edits to the manuscript this morning. I realize after nearly 10 years of research and construction of the project that I needed to construct the proposal first. I planned this book project as a dissertation, not realizing the dissertation would become a book project.

The title is: In Defense of Values - An American Foreign Policy. The project has evolved into 14 chapters in 286 pages and approximately 59,000 words. The manuscript covers an American foreign policy for Iraq and is included in the Conflict Resolution and Security Studies section. I use the scientific method to describe anarchy in the international system, the democratic peace and the role of elite media in today's public discourse. Five hypotheses are constructed around mediation, aid, peace agreements, and peacekeeping operations and tested using regression in stata. The results are used to construct the foreign policy, understand the message and ideology of extremism, and discuss border security and immigration policy. The American Administration section includes an application of the concept of the iron triangle to the Department of Veterans Affairs, a discussion of democratic and transparency values versus efficiency and effectiveness values as related to social media and technology, a definition of the crime triangle and the case study of Charles Joseph Whitman, accountability in the American democratic system of government, human motivational theories applied to an allied informal running group, and encouragement to "live the dream" in an open system of government.

I am not associated with any institution of higher education and I am not looking to re-enter graduate school. I seek to bring closure to this project through publication.

That's genuinely most interesting...lemme give it some thought, I'll try to think of anyplace suitable...purely as a thought, you might care to consider what are termed scientific preprint websites, or possibly serious foreign policy journals, possibly another group on mil ops research I can suggest, I didn't know how quantitative your text is, as I'd said, lemme give it some thought, and send in various thoughts as they occur to me, OK? I'd be most eager to hear and/or chat more whenever convenient, no rush, honest, hope what I send is of at least some possible use....

You might seriously consider sending it into the Naval Institute for publication in their oroceedings, even if only in oieces, or at regular intervals, or equiv journals...just a thohght, of course....

I'd also seriously seek review by doctoral level foreign policy programs, esp if any might be near you, or in political science, possibly economics, maybe, maybe foreign affairs, perhaos, as well, just to get an academic impression, the sheer size and scope of such an effort should certainly give faculty serious academic oause...it's also help if you could elaborate on your own training, assocs, bach, masters, phd, as well, anything to give some frame of reference for all of us to think about, in terms of how you generated such a massive project to begin with would certainly be of help, I should think, by way of explanation, you know?

And I'd most definitely try sending it to the Army Command and Genl.Staff College or Army War College, or any of the mil equivalent ONE programs, maybe Naval War College as well, posskbly, to ask for a critique, just another thought, after you'd copyrighted it, of course....

Yes. I have a children's book series that I'm about to launch, there are 5 in the series. A college friend's dad knows him well and has published through Eddie Smith/World Wide Publishing in Houston. Eddie is very forthright to say that it's not always a slam-dunk and is difficult to make a lot of money in publishing. He's well known in publishing faith-centered books though not exclusively.
