I have found that when I have a lot going on at work it helps to have a pad and pen next to the bed. When I wake up thinking of something that needs to be taken care of the next day. Writing it down lets me quit thinking about it and I can get back to sleep easier. Most days I miss sleep altogether. One day I'll sleep in the morning, next day in the evening, next day in the afternoon. My sleep schedule doesn't have a chance to stay consistent. We are in the military, sleep is a luxury.
