I get that’s not the correct amount but am I completely wrong? Is there a reg somewhere saying ibhge to wear the exact amount on my erb? I thought it was okay to wear less oak leafs rather than add more than what you got? I looked at AR 600-8-22 and that didn’t help.Do you have to wear the correct amount of oak leaf clusters on ASU’s AAM Ribbon that match your erb?2019-12-19T02:36:07-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member5358561

Example : I have 4 AAMS and on my ASU’s I have the AAM ribbon and 2 oak leaf clusters. That being said, it’s frowned upon to not have your ASUs matching your ERB.

Back when I was a SPC, my PSG has a heart to heart with the platoon. He said that we aren’t required to wear any awards on our uniform unless directed, but our ASUs are our “military resume” and we should take the opportunity to put our “best foot forward”. That always stuck with me.Response by 1LT Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 19 at 2019 9:57 AM2019-12-19T09:57:47-05:002019-12-19T09:57:47-05:002019-12-19T02:36:07-05:00
