I’m level two ACFT certified and all I can tell you for sure... I took the thing twice and had to take two different written tests.

I didn’t come close to failing so I couldn’t answer if you need to pass in order to be certified.

Basically: level one- you learn how to grade events.

Level two- you learn how to set up the entire test (which I’m sure is one level below pathfinder [j/k... but for real]).

I haven’t really needed to use the knowledge too much so I can’t really dive deeper.

Hope it helps Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 13 at 2019 8:48 PM 2019-07-13T20:48:03-04:00 2019-07-13T20:48:03-04:00 SFC(P) Private RallyPoint Member 4814396

In the same boat being Level 2 certified. We were certified by a level 3, which we had to take the ACFT and pass then do a written exam, then do a set up, then pitch each event, then last we had to run the event. You are not a good NCO if you cant pass the test Response by SSG Rick Paul made Aug 14 at 2019 9:50 PM 2019-08-14T21:50:23-04:00 2019-08-14T21:50:23-04:00 SSG Rick Paul 4917064

Would they let a retiree to become certified level 1 or 2?
