Hayley Sykes I get them all the time, I do yoga to combat the stress, take my VA meds and wear my glasses. Seems to be working, good read/share!

Bad headaches. 3-4 pills of Tylenol 500 mg.
For the migraines, Vicodin, dark room with door closed, ear plugs, head under pillow, NO movement.

Used to have bad ones all the time. Not so anymore since taking Magnesium every day. Simple bottle of COSTCO stuff does the trick. A previous MD of mine told me to give it a try as there's some small scale studies trying to nail down its effectiveness.

Migraines 2-3 times a week. I use 100mg Sumatriptan plus 1 x 10/325 hydrocodone. Then sit on the bench in my shower and let the rain shower head beat down on my nugget until the hot water is gone.

Need to assess the following, very common causes for headaches:
1. blood pressure low or high?
2. last eye exam?
3. blood sugar too low or too high?
4. dehydrated?

Have headaches almost every day and migraines two or three times a month. Just take Tylenol extra strength or when I really need help Oxaprozin. And hide in a dark room for a couple days.

I was fortunate to never have them but recall my mother did years ago even as a young woman she was completely unable to anything. Had to go and lie down with something over her eyes until it finally passed. No way of knowing what the cause was, just knew a lot of suffering involved.

My CPAP actually helped ALOT! Other than that, I knock them out with Goody's powder.

Hayley, I was in 14 car accidents, when I was younger and now my Implants drive me nuts. I now have headaches and brain swelling. Yeah me, lol. thank you for the article. Hey, haven't lost my sense of humor :)

Hydrocodone, cool wash cloth, dark room and quite. That and I try to enjoy the light show. Gets difficult while puking though.

I migraines. They are called cluster in the basic of my head. I take Sumatriptan. Once I feel the symptoms I take it unless I am driving. Them I suffer until I get to a safe place. One of the thing I found is a Chiropractor in the town close to where I live. Yes the VA pay for it plus I get travel pay. I get a massage and I call a realignment every two weeks and it helps with he management of them.
