My book source, abebooks.com had it for $40.57, w/no shipping cost. 'The Book Repository' in London, UK scans books printed before 1923 and prints to order from that perhaps imperfect scan.? During the Indian wars Cav soldiers were issued a blue uniform. They would wrap the heavy blue blouse in the blanket so that it would be somewhat clean if they came into a town. As a result the pants became sun bleached while the blouse remained a darker blue. I have no idea if this is a fact but it sounds plausible.
