For me, the keyboard especially. It's a matter of touch/feel. The resistance and bounce of the keys. The size and spacing (I have sausage fingers) I do a little gaming (Minecraft mostly) and like a mouse with detents in the wheel so I can "feel" the selection of inventory items/weapons/etc (gamers will understand). I use a Samsung monitor/TV which has very good resolution and refresh speed. However, no computer monitor can match my new Droid smart phone. 21 megapixel camera sold me. I took a long break from gaming and have since been using the Microsoft Wave keyboard and mouse combo. It's extremely comfy and has adjustable tilt. I recently purchased some new games and found that gaming on this keyboard is just as easy as the gaming keyboard I used to have. I never really bothered with the programmable macro keys anyway so I'm not missing anything there. I do miss the backlight but that would just suck down the batteries of a wireless keyboard.
