I don't wear pocket squares. My lapel pin of choice is my 15 year government service pin.

This is cheesy, but if I'm particularly anxious, I pin one of these to the inside of my jacket. They remind me of home, and they're some of my oldest surviving mementos.

Suit?? What's that? You don't retire in Florida with the idea of wearing a suit again for a very long time. Besides a suit doesn't go well with flip flops!

What's a suit? My uniform of the day has been shorts, T-shirt and tennies for the last 12 years and only worn long trousers for one 2 week period in Korea and Japan in winter five years ago.

Plain white square 90% of the time. Goes with every suit/tie/shirt combo, classic, cheap, easy to find, disposable.
