Looking back, I should have invested the $1,500 for the camera body, camera bag and telephoto lenses much earlier in my military career because I am missing a few years worth of photos during my tours. My advice is if you are interested in photography and looking to reduce stress, invest in a good DSLR camera kit now--you'll thank me later. However, my wife sometimes complains I am gone photographing wildlife too much for several hours at a time but really enjoys my photos--so there are still a few family time trade-offs. But when you score your first American Bald Eagle in flight over your head after spending hours in the wilderness and someone offers to buy your photo, you may realize the benefits of photography include more than just relieving stress--it can also be rewarding!Response by Lt Col Jeff J. made Aug 7 at 2017 7:41 PM2017-08-07T19:41:47-04:002017-08-07T19:41:47-04:00Cpl Justin Goolsby2810321<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Creative, no.
