SFC Private RallyPoint Member1109275<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My question is, and I have asked my 1SG, Operations and a 79S and some others, the other day when in a meeting. It was if I am clear and have been retained from this QMP board and my ERB code is now cleared, I should be getting something that says that the findings of the board have found this and you are being retained or something official. I know they can not QMP me for the same ART 15 I got for a BS reason which almost ended my career. But shouldn't I get notified? Told me that if I have not got any notification and my ERB was clear, what more did I want. Do they not realize how traumatic of an experience this is to a Soldier. I could go on, but I will stop there.Do you get some sort of paperwork after the QMP?2015-11-15T02:04:26-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member1109275<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My question is, and I have asked my 1SG, Operations and a 79S and some others, the other day when in a meeting. I am not exactly sure what a QMP is. I was the defendant or recipient of an company grade Article 15 in 1975 and a General Officer Article 15 in 1982. The later was put into my restricted file. I suffered for it. However I did my best to serve as s soldier and was passed over many times but still continued to serve this nation as long as I could.Response by LTC Stephen F. made Nov 15 at 2015 12:14 PM2015-11-15T12:14:44-05:002015-11-15T12:14:44-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member1114645<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You would probably in about 3 to 8 months after the board. I have also been QMPd. I am now a retired SFC,but was also QMPd after the board convened. I got back from Afghanistan and the acting Brigade Commander (LTC) sat me and another E7 to give us the bad news ; I had over 18 years and he had over 20 so we were both able to retire. The best thing to do is prepare whether it happens or not a prepared Soldier is a civilian life ready Soldier; make sure your finances is in order and you have a working resume everything else with the military will fall in place. Hopefully this helps you.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 17 at 2015 4:31 PM2015-11-17T16:31:49-05:002015-11-17T16:31:49-05:00COL Private RallyPoint Member1115978<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You will get an official memorandum that states you were retained as a result of the QMP board. You should be notified by your Bn CDR, in person, and he will give you the letter. Check with your CSM.Response by COL Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 18 at 2015 5:35 AM2015-11-18T05:35:44-05:002015-11-18T05:35:44-05:002015-11-15T02:04:26-05:00
