The training company will either give you a second chance to pass or start the separation chapter right away. It's a 50/50 as to what the Commander decides. If they give you a second chance and if you fail the second chance, your chances of being chaptered increasesResponse by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 4 at 2020 11:38 AM2020-06-04T11:38:52-04:002020-06-04T11:38:52-04:00Sgt Private RallyPoint Member5969078<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Why would you not pass the ACFT?Response by Sgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 4 at 2020 12:17 PM2020-06-04T12:17:06-04:002020-06-04T12:17:06-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member5969394<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The ACFT is a test that better correlates battlefield success to physical capability. If you feel as if you are going to have issues with a specific event, i would suggest training up on that event as much as you can on your off time.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 4 at 2020 1:47 PM2020-06-04T13:47:34-04:002020-06-04T13:47:34-04:00SSgt Christophe Murphy5969568<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Each branch of the military has different requirements and standards. If you fail to meet standards it is possible for negative repercussions to take place. You have to fail 2 consecutive tests to be chaptered out. These failures reflect badly on your ability to meet the requirements of being a soldier. I strongly suggest that you work very hard to meet/exceedthose standards.Response by SGM Bill Frazer made Jun 4 at 2020 4:25 PM2020-06-04T16:25:18-04:002020-06-04T16:25:18-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member5970065<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Id say don’t think about failing put the mental energy into thinking the best outcome, don’t get stressed over a what ifResponse by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 4 at 2020 5:52 PM2020-06-04T17:52:57-04:002020-06-04T17:52:57-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member5970316<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Don't worry about failing. Work on your weaker events and you should be fine. Plus with how COVID stopped everything in its tracks, I would beg the question on that TRADOC has put out guidance on how to approach the ACFT. You are medically "fit for full duty", correct? Can you do physical exercise in your quarantine room? If you are allowed to do so, do something, anything, to help you, such as push-ups, walking or running in place, jumping jacks, etc. I am a senior with medical issues who has to pretty much stay at home indefinitely due to the COVID and I do some stuff inside my home as advised by medical professionals within my physical disabilities limitations.<br />Either right now, or when your class starts, if you can exercise outside or in a gym and have access to the type of equipment that's part of the test use it to replicate the test as much as possible.<br />What I'm basically saying is take full advantage of what you have and what you can do. Also, hopefully, your class will be allowed to do test preparations together and a a practice test. Don't let this one test ruin your military career (including benefits) before your career even gets started. You can do it.Response by SCPO Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 4 at 2020 7:06 PM2020-06-04T19:06:08-04:002020-06-04T19:06:08-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member5971569<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Tradoc regulation 350-6 will give you the answers you seek.
