I pity the fool. Seriously when I do start feeling edgy, I know I need to get out and beat on people with sticks. That seems to work quite well.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 2 at 2016 12:43 AM2016-06-02T00:43:09-04:002016-06-02T00:43:09-04:00SrA Steve Susumu Monas1585811<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No not really don't want to hurt anyone. But Ssg Brown, if the problem did come to combat, yea sometimes. But then I'd patch them up and call an ambulance. Have a good evening? <br />Strange did have a firework go off about 4 houses down and damn that's a trigger I am having problems with. I think I need to go to the range...Response by SrA Steve Susumu Monas made Jun 2 at 2016 1:23 AM2016-06-02T01:23:12-04:002016-06-02T01:23:12-04:00PO1 Private RallyPoint Member1585915<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>When I get to sleep, I had rather that bump never materialize. <br /><br /> I tried to drink myself into oblivion for 7 years after I returned. That didn't work so I tried other recreational activities and remained clueless for several more years. PTSD has a BROAD field of fire when it hits and numerous areas have nothing to do with combat. I have responded to numerous domestic disturbances on post and PTSD ....created.....MORE PTSD. Physical abuse is traumatic as any, but couple that with a spouse who has never understood exactly what PTSD was, eventually wound up with a double whammy. The person they love is beating the crap out of them and seeing the anger, hearing words from a mouth that 4 hours earlier had professed IMMENSE love, is as traumatic as most battlefields. So that bump in the night just might be the closing of a gun case. The trials we all have been through are easier dealt with if it's only one expected trauma, but when there are 3 distinct actions that can be considered unexpected trauma, it becomes much easier to understand the trauma a mother experiences when she's wondering how her children are coping with the same trauma she is feeling. A continued hell is finally understanding what PTSD ones mother experiences.Response by PO1 Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 2 at 2016 2:46 AM2016-06-02T02:46:14-04:002016-06-02T02:46:14-04:00SGT Jeff Decker1585939<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I often feel the same way brother!Response by SGT Jeff Decker made Jun 2 at 2016 3:17 AM2016-06-02T03:17:27-04:002016-06-02T03:17:27-04:00Sgt Private RallyPoint Member1585944<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No, I do not want to hear a bump in the night, but I am prepared if there is.Response by Sgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 2 at 2016 3:23 AM2016-06-02T03:23:26-04:002016-06-02T03:23:26-04:00LCDR Private RallyPoint Member1586733<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Nope.Response by LCDR Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 2 at 2016 10:23 AM2016-06-02T10:23:20-04:002016-06-02T10:23:20-04:00MSgt Steven Holt, NRP, CCEMT-P1586760<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No thank you <a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="612899" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/612899-31b-military-police">SSG Private RallyPoint Member</a>.
