Do you feel that your participation in the Coast Guard Auxiliary fills the military void since leaving Active Duty military life?

I joined the auxiliary when I started my MEB/PEB in hopes that it would help me fill that void.

I love being in the Auxiliary. It definitely helps fill that void but not all the way, due to my injuries. Slowly getting back up though but for now, desk duty it is. :-)

I served in the CGA because I had been in Search & Rescue in New Mexico and the CGA had the closest mission to what I was used to. I had also served in the CAP prior to joining the CGA.
