Yes...not sure I would have ever completed college. Retired after 28 years with 4 college degrees.

Anyone who goes into the military comes out better whether they admit it or not. I got my bachelors while I was on. The military also taught me how to deal with different types of people.

In some ways. I am still the same person in a sense that I still retain the same personality, however, the military did open a bigger world to me and helped me become more responsible.

No ... the Army did not genetically alter me into a super-solider above and beyond my basic limits.
What the army did was apply a little Size-9 to the 4th point of contact to insure that I might. just possibly, be all that I really could be.

Yes, might just have been the normal process of growing up but when graduated from HS early to join the Navy at 17 there was no way I could imagine being here today. i am living the dream.

Other than working hard on a ranch serving gave me a solid foundation to build on and the GI bill + Army College fund to go to school. I missed serving but needed to have a family life so I did it one weekend a month after that. I would not be successful with out the Military.

Yes, I was a Podunk idiot southern girl who had never left home much less the south. I the world and people. I learned a lot and got to meet people and I got an education on the world. I also had my spoiled little butt romped on an learned a great deal of humility. I would still be in if I could....
