I only modify my dns specifically for my ps4 for streaming.

Nice. I didn't know Verisign had a public DNS too. I've used the Google public DNS with great results for the past year or so. Good to know other alternatives are available. https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/

I only modify it on the router. This way it effects all of the computers on my network.

Nope bad performance is usually my ISP and I pay for their stupid modem so they can't blame me.

Yes. So spybot search and destroy will blackhole about 15000 malicious domains for you automatically.

At my house I use a DNS black hole server, Pi-Hole, to block about 103k domains and ads across my entire network.
