Yeah, if you eat cheap ice berg lettuce then it's a waste...there is no nutritional value, but if you eat Romain, butterhead lettuce, Raddicio, Batavian, loose leaf, red leaf, oak leaf....and the list goes one....these lettuce all have nutrients...anitoxidants....and other things that go into salad such as Tomatos, Celery, belle peppers....did you know that one green belle pepper has more vitamin C than a 10 lb bag of oranges....yep, it sure does... and the list goes on....This aricle is full of crap! Salad is awesome and excellent for you...IT iS A GREAT SOURCE OF FIBER....WATER and VITAMINS...and ANTI OXIDENTS....<br /><br /><br />Here is a photo of the salad I made for dinner tonight. It's a SPINACH SALAD....the dressing is Balsamic vinegar, raw honey, jalepenos...I didn't have jalepeno's tonight so I used chinese hot pepper and hot oil....and bacon...crunch bacon....you shake it up really good and spoon it onto the salad. YUM! NO! Salad is not over rated and this aricle is BOLOGNA!
