Secondly...I wouldn't really care if they did if it meant Americans would be safer. My thought is, if you're not talking about doing something illegal, you will not have anything to worry about. Besides...unless they want to hear about football, cars, kids, the weather, work drama, and my mom telling me about her health issues...they will not listen to my phone calls for long anyway. Do you care that the Federal Government could be (or is) listening to all phone calls made within the United States? 2015-07-10T21:51:35-04:00 LTC(P) Private RallyPoint Member 806813 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>For one...I don't think the Federal Government could employ that kind of manpower. If Americans want to be safe, and feel safe, and it means that the Federal Government listens to our phone calls; then I say so be it. I'd rather feel safe and be safe. If your'e not doing anything illegal, you shouldn't care, right? Think how much safer we could be if the government could choose to watch any room in any house in the entire country, and listen to every conversation, right? Well I care, because privacy is protected by the Constitution, and I for one am somebody who cares very much for our freedoms and our Constitution.
