Metadata can be useful in many ways. This article gives one those ways. As with anything else, if you want extra security, you have to work for it.

I remove it when necessary but other times don't care. The biggest thing is to make sure pictures are stripped of metadata that can be used against you.

Metadata can be useful, but in general it can really effect your privacy.

Yep. I do it for both personal and military work. It makes the images easier to find and (hopefully) in the eyes of potential clients.

I throw in the copyright information and sometimes keywords but for the most part no.
